more power 289

I have a 289 with 351W heads in a 1989 Bronco with all the original fuel injection and emissions installed see (289 will it work?) in this forum.
I dont know what the cam is in it as it was rebuilt many years ago by someone else and sat in my shop for years. The question is now that i have it running very good. How can i build on what i have and make better use of the big valves in the 351W heads is there some way to modify the chip to increase HP

From: Destin/Ft. Walton Beach,
My ex father in law had an 88 Bronco with a similar setup, but a 302. He had a performance module installed. I'm pretty sure it sat "piggy back" on the stock ecu computer. It also came with a 160 degree thermostat. I guess the module changed the fuel and ignition curves, and need the cooler thermostat to fool the computer into running the engine richer to avoid detonation. He also had headers, flowmasters, underdrive pulleys and a K&N air filter. He then had 4.10 gears installed, with Detroit locker in the rear, and Power Trax locker in the front. He also ran big tires, with both a suspension lift and a body lift. I'm not even going to get into the stereo that I installed for him. That truck hauls BUTT. Floor it in low range, and it nearly pulls the front tires off the ground. He is one cool old man. Wish I could have kept him for a Dad when I got rid of his daughter. LOL There was one small drawback. It makes you want to keep your foot in the gas. No lie though. We went on a camping trip to Padre Island, Texas. Drove there from Florida towing a utility trailer full of gear, 4 people and fire wood. We avereage 14 miles per gallon. When he later checked it not towing anything, it still avereaged 14 mpg.
