First question, the RPM gauge does not work properly. Is this common? What are some steps i can take to try to fix it.
Second: Its a manual trans and no matter how easy i try to slip into gears, it jerks around a little each time, all most like the pedal is sticky(loose/stretched tv cable?)
Third: Do you guys have a cheap way to make a cold air intake? I already
have an extra K&N filter layin around. I looked under the hood and seems like am going to need some type of metal thing to mate up with the factory map.
thanks in advance for your help, just tryin to get a lil more pep out of this thing while it is in my posession, not to mention improving driveablity, mpg, and functionality.
If I had an 01 B2300 I would also have an electrical troubleshooting manual for it & might be able to tell you what the prob is with the tach. But I dont have an 01 B2300. As far as the clutch, you should only be able to push the clutch about 1 inch b-4 feeling resistance. More than that & you probably have a leak in the clutch master or slave cylinder. Take a look under the dash where the clutch rod goes thru the firewall, is it wet?
I would start by checking for codes, the tach is electronic and if your having a problem with the signal it might be affecting the power and thats why you have trouble taking off smoothly.
