I have a 2000 E150 that started missing yesterday, it was raining so I thought it had gotten wet. Still missed this morning and it set check engine light. 82K on engine & plugs so I changed plugs (what a bear), still missed so I ran codes. 0308 which states # 7 cylinder misfire. First how does Ford number their cylinder banks from drivers seat left odd,1-3-5-7 right even,2-4-6-8 front to rear or left 1-2-3-4 front to rear right 5-6-7-8 front to rear? It sounds like I might have a bad coil pack, what do you experienced Ford people think? Zeke
A P0308 means a misfire on #8 cylinder. A P0307 would be #7.
A COP (Coil On Plug) would be the next likely thing as long as the spark plugs you installed were gapped correctly etc.
The cylinders are number like this:
Seats
4 8
3 7
2 6
1 5
