WHY?????? they look stupid....many guys here will attest to that! what are you gonna do with it? that V-10 is just gonna get siht for gas mileage and it's not like you will be able to pull anything (maybe a lawnmower if you want it another 2" lower.
you ever think there is a reason you can't find any kits? they outta be outlawed!

What are you doing out of the Offroad forum. Didn't Ken warn you about straying? Tsk, tsk. Those riceburners have their place (under my tires).
Mike
In your opinion. Maybe he wants a lowered truck.. so what.. it is HIS truck to do what he wants with. For all we know he doesn't have any legs or something and has toruble getting in
Seriously though there is more than one way to do everything, some people like to lift, some peoiple like stock, and some people like to lower. All he was trying to find was some info on a lowering kit, not a bunch of grief. AND, at least he is doing it to a 2wd and not a 4wd.
Oh yeah.. I don't know who makes a lowering kit, but do a search because I know this topic has come up before.
whip,
your truck has a place under my tires naw...ken lets me out every now and then
superstroker,
chill out man, i was messin with him. i was giving him grief but we are all (most? maybe not i dunno) guys here....i think we can handle it. i forgot i wasn't in the off-road section, lol, just a lil of my humor! I agree TOTALLY i am glad everyone doesn't like to 4-wheel and jacked up rock crawlers cause then i would have to show up a LOT more ppl!
sorry robleeg....can't help ya but if you ever need some help raising that beast of yours come on tp the off-road side of the board and we will get ya where ya need to be.
Thanks guys, I'm an OTR driver and dont get to the cpu much. We'll the reason for the drop is because I have gotten her HP ratting upped to 650 at the rears. And I dont think a truck with this much power should be a 4x4 skyscrapper. I like the lifted ones, but I bought the 2wd so I could make it fast and mean. The 22's dont have spinners, cactually they are Centerlines. Anywho, I may just leave it stock with the 275/65's and just find me some hondas to eat. Not to sure yet. I would like to lift it though, but 2wd lift kits are a bit pricey and hard to locate since they lack the frony axle. Any and all info and encouragement is the best way to go. Keep them comming in.

Nice looking truck, mine is at stock height, sits a couple inches higher than my '88 F250hd (also stock height). Do what you want ford designed the specific ride height for legshotimus maximus!
How ever ya' go, keep on truckin'.
robleeg,
I also have a 4X2 and hate the stink bug look of the truck. I went back and forth on going up or down with the suspension. There is almost 4" of difference between the front and back. I would leave the front stock and get a shackle kit to drop the rear 4". The cost is not that much and you don't have to worry about tires rubbing. Sorry I can't be more help, but I decided to go up with my suspension because I go off road too much.
