How low can you go
Hi I was just wondering how far past empty have you all gone.
With gas prices lack of money because work is slowing down . I seem to be
pushing the gadge a little more often . This morning I got stuck in traffic and took the fuel gadge down the with of the needle past the bottom of the E.
So how low can you go.

You have about 3 to 5 gal left when the low fuel light comes on. The main problem is when it gets that low, there is no fuel surrounding the pump to help keep it cool. Repeated driving like this will result in premature pump failure.
