u will prob be ok with the load leveler hitch....BUT.....imo the helper springs are a great assist and add a lot stability....and eleminates rear end sag.
they are inexpensive (25-30$) and about 30 minutes to install with a couple ordinary hand tools. they do not change your ride when the vehicle is not loaded.
the question would seem to be, "why not use them?"
i use them on all my vehicles and highly recommend them.
I think you are better off NOT using them. If you are using a weight distributing hitch you want the rear of your vehicle to sag a little and then you adjust the torsion bars and redirect some of the weight towards the front axle. If you use overload springs they won't be in use at all when you have the WDH hooked up. Spend the money on a good WDH setup and forget the overloads. You're well within your towing capacity anyway.
