tranny additives

what is the best additive for automatic transmissions in the f-150 once you have over 100,000 miles on them mine is running great and i would like to keep it like that

well, i usually add a can of trans tune about a thousand miles before i do my tranny fluid, seems to keep it cleaned out.

None, the best thing you can do is change your fluid. If you want to be extra cautious, use a synthetic. If you don't want to spring for synthetic, go for a high quality "dinosaur" oil like Castrol, Pennzoil, etc. Modern fluids are so thoroughly researched and blended (additives are already added to the base stock) that they do not require any additional additives.
