Supercab Swap?

Supercab Swap?
Hi, My 77 F-150 4x4 is a regular cab long bed. My question is can I fit a supercab on the frame w/o too much hacking? Will a short bed fit or would I have to cut my long bed up? Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated

I've posed this question before and received some good info.
I am not an authority, but from what I've found out without either cutting/adding to your frame, or shortening the 8' bed, it won't fit.
I think your truck has a 133" wheel base like my 79 F150 reg cab long bed. The reg cab short beds were 117" wheel base. So, the factory short bed should be 16" less than the long bed.
Well, I found/bought a clean Supercab and it measures roughly 22" longer than the regular cab.
Apparently, a factory SC w/ short box would have about a 138" WB and the factory SC w/ long bed would have a 155" WB (for F150 anyway).
I know there were some various length beds for Camper Specials (maybe an F250 w/ a 150" WB?) but no factory combination appears to be a bolt in on the 133" WB frame.
As much as I would like more room in the cab, I may just replace my regular cab and keep its' existing configuration.
