Drain Plug

hey im about to change the oil on an 02 PSD and am wondering what torqe your supposed to torqe the drain plug? does it matter?

It's funny you ask. I recently "acquired" a copy of the 2004 Ford Specifications book. This thing lists the torque specs for electronic device ground straps, but nowhere does it say what to use on the drain plug. Generally 20-25 lb-ft is accepted.

okay thanks ill torqw it too 25 or 30 lbs.
