[updated:LAST EDITED ON 21-Nov-02 AT 10:09 AM (EST)]genosgarage.com has a decent selection of gauges and mounts. Just got mine from them (dual guage EGT, boost).
Good people there too. We'll be offering gauges within 2 weeks but don't let that steer you away from Geno's. Good folks, great service and good prices.
I plan to purchase gauges soon myself. What brand gauges do you reccommend? I have the factory trans temp. I know I'll need the EGT and Boost. Is there any other that I should consider. I want to install the required gauges before the superchip upgrade, exhaust and air flow upgrades. I own an 02' F-350 PSD,CC,LB,SRW, True Blue w/grey leather.
are the egt and boost gauges a do it yourself install? how difficult? i have a 2002 psd with stock gauges and stock motor. plan on installing a chip of some sort and would like the gauges as well. how much is the pod on windshield and the gauges?
I just orderd egt and boost gauges for my stock 2002 F-350 cc. I like Autometer gauges, I found them at Summit for a good price( I think). I orderd the dual gauge pillar mount that is factory color from pmt ( that was the only place i found them in color). I hope to have all for the weekend. I will let all know how I make out.
I have $280 invested and i do plan on installing my self. The pillar mount is coming from #####. I found them online when i did a search for Autometer, i think it was on the second page. I tried #####.com but could never get to the page.
An EGT guage is also known as a pyrometer. You might find it easier that way.

The pod and gauges are easy to mount, the most trouble is drilling the exhaust elbow between the exhaust manifold and the turbo, be sure to start with a small drill bit and go larger until you get to 1/4"(if you use the autometer).I got to drilling the 1/4 with an old bit and it broke, but I could just get enough of it to get it before it fell into the manifold.Oh another tip is to mount the pod to the existing apillar then mount it to the truck, very easy.I think western diesel has a good set of directions on their site.
Good info on that sight it will take some time off my installation. I got all my gauges and pillar mount now all i need is the time to install.
Thanks for the info, i'll let all know how I make out.
