Mitch that's great. That would save the chapter some $$$ .... Thanks
I'll go ahead and e-mail Voodoo about getting started with making the second banner. We should have more donations by the end of the week and we'll keep taking donations until it is time to pay for the banner.
This post has only been up for 24 hours and just shows the great support and camaraderie that the members of FTE's "Kansas Chapter" have for each other.
Mitch,
I have a ton of elbows for the pvc pipe. We can get together and make a frame. My dad works for a plastics company so I literally have a bag of fittings..LOL
So far thats about $8.04 a peice. $70.42 (last banner) + $10.00 (owed to Voodoo from last banner,Pay-pal fees)= $80.42 divided by 10 = 8.04
I emaild VoodooSurfer and he said it would be finished around Friday the 23rd. I told him that when he needs to collect the money that I would send him a check for the full amount and that I would collect the money from everyone. That is if it's ok with everyone that I do that.
I would probably collect with a check by mail, Or if some want to pay by Pay-Pal it would be the their share + 2.9 % + .35 cents (Pay-Pal Fees) DO NOT SEND PAYMENT YET. I will collect when I mail Voodoo a check.
Also who's going to keep the banner in the Wichita area?

Jon,
Thanks dude! we will get together after you recover and build the frame.
I can pick the new banner up when its ready, and I (or someone else) will bring it north the first chance I get. As a side note I may be passing thru Topeka Saturday 5/1 sometime in the late afternoon if anybody could meet me we could do a handoff.
Was the swap meet all weekend Mark, and what days are you going to attend? I want to go but only if We get together even as a small group...You bringing the wife mb i could get my gf.. any ways let me know or call... Gl bro
The swap meet is most of the weekend. Friday 5pm till dark, Saturday 6:30am till 4 or 5pm, Sunday 6:30 pm till noon.
The best time to go is Saturday morning till about 2:00 IMO. Some of the vendors are gone on Sunday. I think Fordborn is going to be there Sunday. I think he has to work Saturday. I'll probably be there all three days.
Not sure if I'll have a stall there this year. Work is kinda busy and I don't think I'll have time to get stuff ready, plus I didn't get my app turned in on time for the good rates. Wives and GFs usally get bored there fairly quick, again IMO
I might have to meet up with Rollie then cause I work almost every Saturday in the spring, summer and fall, Weather is my only days off really after July 15th...
Yeah I am planning on being up there sunday. Do have to work part of the day saturday atleast so will make the cruise but have to go to the swap meet sunday. So if you want to meet sunday Jeff let me know, I will probably have my boys with me too.
true....but in order to recieve payments from other sources than balance transfers, you have to upgrade...which means you pay a fee. It is only free if you accept balance transfers.
