Rear End rebuild help!?
Well, I am almost positive the rear end in my '78 F250 4WD is toast. The gear lube ran out around the pinion seal and it started making an awful noise when you let off of the gas. 
Anyway, I have been looking for parts, but I have not decided opened the case, yet. A local junk dealer will sell me a used one for $250 and so far the best I can do for parts is around $450 to $500.
I have a Dana 60 with 4.10 gears and LS. The parts price includes the ring and pinion, bearings, seals, and new LS clutches. I would appreciate some advice on what to look for as I delve into this project.
