Axel Skid Plates
Does Ford have any skid plates available? What about axel skid plate protection.I cought something on the construction site mud .Caught the steering shock and then the rear axel housing.Had to un-bolt the steering damper in the pouring rain,i'm real happy with myself right now.See what you get when your checking on jobsite conditions and sipping on a cup of java.Atleast i own Fords and not a belly dragging GM.I love looking down at them when we pull up to talk to one another.

To go as far down as the steering stabilizer it owuld have to be one big skidplate... Probably an eye sore if it covered up the whole axle IMHO.
There are a few companies out there i believe that offer steering stabalizer kits that would move them up above or even to the tie rod to help prevent accidents like what happened to you...
