What is your problem? There is no 4x4 computer on the expedition. Most controls are handled by the GEM and its located on top of the interior fuse box. There are a few other components so it you let us know what is happening, maybe we can help.

Well the problem were having is that the car is in low gear but no one put it there. It is out of 4wd not showing that its in 4wd low but whe oyu start to drive it only goes 25 mph and shifts through all the gears like normal. the salvage yard said that it sounds like the 4wd computer which they gave us. The computer says (4x4 automatic compter). They seem pretty sure this is the problem but they got this computer out of an explorer behind the radio but this is not were it located in the Expedition. They said it is the same computer so if someone could tell me if they are right it would help alot. Thanks Jason.

I would be very surprised if the GEM from an Explorer will work in an Expedition. I think it's time to find a different salvage yard.
