77 Diesel project
has anyone put a newer diesel engine in a 70s model F250. i am thinkin about droppin in a 24v cummins or a 6.0 powerstroke into mine. will the frame hold the tourque? or i might buy a rolled over 2003 F250 and just put the 77 body onto that frame.

i have a 7.3 in my 76 crew cab longbox 4x4. i love it. i used the 2wd automatic that came from the truck i got the motor from. i kept my 205 t-case and had a new intermidiate shaft made. it works great, really fast, lots of power. i did box the frame in the whole way, and needed new leafs in the front. i also converted to full power steeting

this is just about exactly what i want to do, but with a 5 speed if it's not too long. how did the project go? fairly straighforward? i'm sure there's a lot involved, but if you've got any major pointers, i'm listening.
