have a tranny ques??
does anyone know how i might figure out the tranny i got in this truck, its a 1979 f-150 with the 302 5.0, long bed regular cab. thanks if anyone can help

get under the truck, and look at the transmission pan, if it is sort of "L" shaped then its a c6, but because you have a 302, it could also be a c4, c5 or aod/aot. what is the shape of the transmission pan?
