I love the older crews and was just wondering how many are out there, post pics if you gottem. I always wanted to get one about a 69 model, 4x4 and put a 4bt cummins in it with the nv4500. Anything like that here?
There are a lot of crews around. I was thinking of going the diesel route but my truck is too cherry for that. There are a number of older diesel fords around here, Cummins, PSD's even a few Perkins.
I have a 70 F250 crewcab 4x4 thats is almost back on the road (serious this time) after a frame off restoration. It's in my gallery with a list of goodies and a few pics. Not including a diesel though just a gas guzzling 460.
It is about an hour from where I live, I will go by it on saturday and I will get the most info on the trucks condition and year , if I cant find an owner right away I will leave my number so they can call, hopefully let you know on sunday, mabey sat night.
I'm in Edmonton Alberta Canada and there is a 70's crew cab sitting in a wrecking yard here. The doors are gone but the cab is pretty much rust free. (no salt on roads here)
