Adding Cruise Control Questions.
I am a new member here and did a search to see if anyone had added Cruise Control to their Diesel. Either nobody had or wouldn't admit to it.
I want to give my right foot a break on long trips so thought adding Cruise would help.
I have a 1993 Non-turbo 7.3 F-250 4X4 with no modifactions.
Have any of you guys done this, and if so, how hard is it?
I understand there is a difference between adding Cruise to a Diesel and a Gas engine.
Did it work out ok or did you have problems with it after completed?
And finally, what brand kit did you use, what was the cost and where did you get it?

Hi,
have you ever tried to get a used cruise control system out of a junktruck?
I think that would be the best. If you try to do it you have to ask for all needed parts here.
If you want a new system I would choose a VDO system. I never have installed an aftermarket cruise control but I suppose that it's not very difficult to install it into your truck.
