fuel tank

I was just wondering how big of a fuel tank my 1979 F-150 SWB has. Just got it home after the engine overhaul. Thanks in advance.

Where is it located ?
Behind seat or near the back of the truck.

I would say close to 76L or 16 1/2 gallons

I believe the behind the axle tanks are 19.1 gallons...

and unless im seriously mistaken, or he has a custom truck, the 79's didnt have the tank in the cab... 77 was the last year for that.

The tank behind the axle is 19.2 gallons.
