Decreasing heating times

Im wondering if there is a way to decrease the time it takes for the heat to come. In the winter I have to let it idle for 10 minutes so I can defrost the windows and bring the inside temperature up from -20 degrees.

Use an electric fan for the radiator and preheating your block would be 2 ideas.

I get using the block heater but how would an electric fan help?

Your stock fan pulls air through the radiator all the time. A electric fan only comes on when the system is warmed up.

Well it came default with the electric fan. Should I just put a relay in and a switch inside?

If it came with a electric fan you should be in good shape. The only thing I would add is that if you set the control to defrost it will run the fan when the ac compressor is on. So it should be cycling instead of being on all the time.
