exhaust tips???
I dont really know what people are talking about, i kinda have an idea but i need some opinions. what do they do? do they help the performance of the diesel motor? make it have an attitude(sound)? how much do they cost?the best brands and where to purchase, some help on these would be greatly appreciated!! thanks, Jess Anderson

Exhaust tips dont do nothin but make the tip of the tail pipe chrome. You can get some that get bigger in size to make it look like you got a larger exhaust. The bigger ones will also give it a little differant tone at the exhaust. Kinda like the folks who put them big chrom "ecco tips" on the back of gassers to give it a deeper tone.

I agree.
They are mostly cosmetic but you can alter the sound with them. Kinda like a brass instrument can alter it's final tone with the bell changes.
The experimentation of different sounds is too hard so just get one that looks nice to you!
