the block heater is in the right side of the block in a freeze plug. the wire should run up and be in front of the right battery. if it has never been pluged in you need to pull it through the grill to plug in.

If you look on the driver's side near the oil filter you should see the wire coming out of the block and leading to the front of the engine, if you have one.
