Nick, I dont think she was alone, notice the fact that SOMEONE had to take some of those pics taht she was in......granted she could have had a stand and the camera have a timer, but there was prolly someone with her just incase

Thank you awatchman,that was very informative,yet frightening that the nrc has done nothing after all these scientists contacted them.I only hope that it doesn`t take another TMI to wake these guys up.

Great link, thanks for sharing it with us all. It just goes to show how terribly the communist government worked and how incompetent the Russians were. Same thing when the 70 or so Chechens took over the theater in Moscow back in October 2002, holding about 700 patrons hostage. The Russians in their incompetence pumped the theater full of an unknown gas. It did immobilize the Chechens but also killed over 100 of the Russian theater patrons. The Russian government refused to tell anyone what the gas was and wouldn't give doctors an anecdote to the gas, and all those Russians died for nothing. Almost like they were back to soviet-style iron fist rule with all the Big Brother secrecy.

That woman who rides through Chernobyl and documents it for everyone is sure brave (and beautiful, i think).
