[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-Dec-02 AT 05:01 PM (EST)]I'm rather new to the dual battery set-up and have a simple question. Since is getting cold here in Minnesota, say I run across a nice looking lady in need of a jump, does it matter which battery I hook-up to?
be sure not to jumb across both batteries at the same time, this will cause 24 volts to run thru the electrical system.
USE ONLY ONE BATTERY TO JUMP WITH and if ya find you need help with the chick, call on us!!!
actually yes it does if you need to jump use the drivers side, that is what my owners manual says. also you cannot force 24 volts to the sytem of the other car since the batterys are wired in parrell with a islare inbetween them.also you can start you vechical off one battery it just starts slow and causes some premature starter wear so i would not attempte it in the winter unless in dire straights
