Question ac problem

compressor clutch does not engauge
help

Have you had your system pressure checked? Could be low.

Question

ok i changed the compressor and the gas released when I removed the manifold on the back, I purchased a kit to replace the gas but The compressor does not run..checked the fuse and all do I need to charge the system and then turn the compressor on??

You have to put the freon in, with the system on. When it reaches the proper level the compressor will kick on unless you have other issues with the system.
