I was wondering if someone out can shed some lite on the delimma I am having
I am trying to pull an engine out of my truck . I have removed all the bolts on the engine and tranny and also the 4 bolts on the fly wheel
Yet the I can't seem to separate the engine from the tranny to lift it out
I lift it so the engine mount clears the frome and I can shake the heck out of it but nothing .
Am I missing something
Help
Does the torque convertor move back a little away from the flexplate,if it moves freely and you are sure that you removed all the engine to tranny bolts, then the tranny is probably just oxidized to the locator pins on the engine.Just take a prybar and pry them apart
What I am working on is we are rebuilding a 5.0 L engine in a 1990 f150 4x4 truck
Hopefully this is the info you are looking for
I will be back When I run into other problems
