Spout wire disconnected with engine running

I was messing around with my engine trying to fix something and my spot connector accidentally disconnected itself somehow (with the engine running). The engine idled down a bit then I plugged it back in and it idled up. Did I possibly wreck or mess up anything? The engine is a EFI 302 in signature.

Well, maybe it wasn't the spout connector. It is a yellow wire that comes from the TFI module to a plug then goes into a wiring harness. Is that the SPOUT connector?

Oh sorry, thought you meant a plastic line. Maybe I was confusing it with the post below this one.

unplugging a wire accidentally from a sensor and then reattaching it will not hurt anything, you're still ok.

It's normal for it to idle up a little. My 86 does that too. The computer's in control of the timing with it plugged in, and when you unplug it, it goes to 10 degrees or whatever your distributor is set at.
