Replacing Plastic Vacuum Lines

That plastic spaghetti line is quite brittle and the line going to the diverter valve broke. I have been searching for replacement line, but it is hard to find. Can I just use rubber vacuum line with a small diameter? Or will it collapse on vacuum? Need some suggestions. Thanks in advance for your replies.

The after-market rubber vacuum hose will work just fine. The diameter of the hose is not important. Use whatever size that fits the bibs you are connnecting to.

Thanks for your replies! I am probably going to go with the rubber vacuum lines. I am installing a new Ported Vacuum Switch for an '83 truck, replacing the electronic one that my '85 came stock with. The PVS from the '83, which is a friend's friend's truck, I noticed that for the plastic lines to work, I need an adapter. Don't want the hassle of finding an adapter, so I will just run the rubber hoses and use plastic tees as needed. We have the IM-240 smog tests out here in AZ, and I have to get that smog stuff working properly, since I did Duraspark II conversion, and the computer no longer works. Thanks again!
