Unhappy Factory DVD Install HELP!!

HELP!!!!!!
I decided to install the factory DVD player in my 2002 X. Waht I thought would be a "cake walk" has tunrned into an expensive mess! Heres my issue, I procured the factory DVD console that comes with the DVD player and rear A/C controls, since I already have rear A/C I didn't see a problem. I also bought the factory mounting bracket for the overhead DVD console, I dropped the headliner removed the old bracket and install the new one, I then cut the headliner to accomodate the new DVD console...so far so good. I then hooked up the coonectors to the Aux A/C and went to connect the DVD connector that I ***-umed Ford installed but just taped up because it was not in use. SUPRISE no connector, I then turned to my local Ford dealer to see if there was a link harness I could purchase or would I have to replace the whole body harness. They had no idea. I am already into it to far to back out now the headliner alone is $650.00. Has anyone had any experience in installing the OEM player that can help me figure out how to connect the DVD. Yeah I know I should I looked before I leaped but........
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I've been wanting to do that to my 2000 x so keep me informed on the progress. There is a guy on ebay who sells info on this but I don't know any details or if its good information. I'll do some digging in my manuals and see if I can find anything. Let you Know.
