how many of you have had dreams that youll never forget... they scared you, or whatever.
one i had a year ago- the dream was i was laying in bed, my father came and woke me up. the whole room, and his face was black and blue, everything, that pail blue color like when people quit breathing. he woke me up, said "everything is ok, i love you" hugged me, and said "goodbye"
i woke up freaking out... sweating, and im not afraid to admit i was crying. ive heard countless times of people having these dreams when loved ones pass away. i didnt sleep for the rest of the night.
ive heard countless times of people having these dreams when loved ones pass away.
If your father did pass away then that would creepy.
This isn't a dream but I think it qualifies......
A few years ago My Grandmother was real bad sick & didn't have much longer to live. So we were waiting for a decent time to leave & catch the next plane to Minneapolis.
I was sitting at my Mothers house in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC. It was around 3 or 4 in the Morning & her and I were getting ready to leave for the airport.
All of a sudden my mother & I looked at each other. My mother asked me what I just said to her. I had told her I didn't say anything. My mother replied and said that someone just wispered it was time to leave & she thought it was I.
I told her she was out of her mind & needed some sleep. I didn't say that & we still had a good hour before we had to leave for the Charlotte Airport. Well my mother went hysterical, She was sure something happened & positive that someone had told her it was time to go.
About 10 minutes later the phone started ringing. It was family members that were already at the Hospital in Minneapolis telling us that my Grandmother had just past away.
I've had a few dreams where something happened to loved ones and I woke up sweating and crying with my pillow soaked. I've also had a few when I woke up I'm like "Thank God it was just a dream". I've also heard people say that dreams do fortell the future. What do you guys think?
I had a dream where i walked in on my aunt being robbed and the 2 men in masks put me on my knees and shot me in the head. I had that feeling you get when you turn upside down on a swing and kinda have to pee. Then it was black until i woke up. a little creepy.
I have had dreams about the future. Then i wil forget them. But then i will be sitting there and all of the sudden it hits me. I have been here before. I dreamed this.
premonition, or whatever it's called, is a real phenomena documented many times. Very few people have it. Though I recognize the reality of it, I've never had anything supernatural or unusual happen to me at all.
My mother had a similar thing happen when my grandmother was dying. I don't know the details, but it was something along the same lines.
There is a hidden world behind the tangible dimension.
Speaking of....I had something weird happen this morning that I've never experienced before. I had just woken up, still tired, and I guess I closed my eyes and fell back to sleep. In the mean time I was having this dream, I heard a nosie and noticed in a shadow that a person was coming around the corner with a gun, so I tried to hurry and grab one of mine, but by the time I turned around the guy had the gun to my head, and then pulled the trigger. I immediately awoke, sweating, wondering what the heck just happened, very weird and somewhat creepy.
Well, about a month ago I dreamt that the transmission in my truck blew up. Guess what, the next day my transmission granaded. I though that was a bit freaky. I was more ****ed off though.
Now, I hope for a dream that I win a million bucks. Hopefully that dream comes true.
the night my mothers dad passed away, he said " i have to go now, ive gotta go" and went upstairs to go to sleep. he had a heart attack and never woke up. i guess thats why the dream about my dad spooked me so much. sometimes i think my father will outlive me though so i try not to worry too much
Even creepier....if thats a word, is a dream i had about 2 weeks before getting my 91 mustang that i totalled and killed my best friend..
I had this dream that i had recently bought a mustang, and that i had to take it to someones funeral because they had died just shortly after me aquiring it. The only thing i could ever remember about the dream other than that, was the sound of it screaming out at high revs, sometime after the funeral.
About 2 weeks later, my mustang is gone, my best friend is gone...and i'm laid up in the hospital.....strangest dream i've EVER had...and i never want to have that feeling again...it was so spooky i can't even think of a word to describe the sensation.
I KNOW there is something to premonition - fore-telling... whatever you want to call it.
but in everyday life we are too "busy" to "listen" for it... and I for one say we should.
just like many of us are too busy to pray, too busy to listen or to spend time with our loved ones... too busy to... etc...
I had a dream many, many years ago when my son was about 2 and just toddling...
if you have children you know how much fun that age is - lot's of laughs and giggles!
and I being a "sportsman" back in the glory days couldn't have been a prouder pop than to have a SON !
In the dream we were at a beach way away from the water because we wanted the kids to be able to wander and explore... both were about 20 yeards away when all of a sudden a sinkhole appeared and my oldest ran away trying to pull her brother with her but Nick was too curious and pulled away to look..
I'm running as hard as I can to get to him and he's just out of my reach as he sinks..
What a terrible heart breaking dream it was to loose your only son like that...
TALK about wake up in a cold sweat !
Little did I realize how sumbolic that dream was...
I knew we were drifiting apart when he was a teenager, and tried every way I could to let him KNOW that I loved him and really wanted nothing but the best for him...
but he drifted away and took his own life at 16 years old...
NO father should ever have to bury his only son under those circumstances...
As we all celebrate Easter in our own ways...
remember that life is for real - it is not a game and we have to believe those fire and brimstone preachers that say...
"There may not be another chance for you to do what is right"
My mother-in-law has those dreams all the time.....Before my husband and I got married, she told me that she had a dream that we did. (this was even before he asked me) She had a dream that my husband got into a motorcycle accident and was in the hospital, and he did in fact lay his bike down, but it wasn't serious enough for him to be admitted into the hospital.
You guys want to hear something really crazy? This was in no way a bad dream. Last summer I had this dream that I was getting it on with this really hot chick. I had never seen her before. Two days later I was in the drive thru at the bank and I looked in the car next to me and there was the same chick I saw in my dream. It looked exactly like her. Is this crazy or what!
I am so sorry to hear about that event. I cannot think of anything more terrible to happen than this. I am sure it was a time of trial and tribulation where you reassessed your worldviews and value system. Your have my sincere condolence, even if this was years ago, and chances are, you have accepted it, as people do.
Yeah jdadamsjr, I read your post too. I'm terribly sorry to hear this. I was just curious as to why a 16 year old would do such thing. I have always been curious about why teens suicide.
