f150 cat coverters
f150 cat coverters
Now i have heard from a muffler shop that you can get a chip for pickups to bypass the o2 sensors so you can cut out your cat coverters, i know not supose to but im from a hick town in northern canada and well now one cares and theres probably more without than with im just curious as to if anyone has heard of this chip or have installed one. thanks
I believe they are called MIL Eliminators or something to that extent.
Basically it returns the voltage for your trucks O2 sensor's optimal reading. It doesn't bypass it, it just gives it a false reading. Theoretically..you could just bypassit yourself - but that'd be too much work lol.
I believe it has been said that the Ford trucks O2 sensors are before the Catalytic converter...so..you don't need these. On my MN-12 forum...these are big because there is an O2 sensor or two running around behind the cat.
