remote start units for diesel
I have a F250 SD with a 7.3 power stroke. I have installed a alarm system that has a remote start feature. When I had it installed, the wait to start wire could not be found so a delay time was installed. This is a pain because you have to guess at how much time to wait for the glow plugs to warm up. Can anyone tell me wher I can tap onto the wait to start wire. This is the wire that lights the glow plug indicator on the dash. I also decided to put this in because it a feature to start the engine every 3 hours.

The wire is black with a pink stripe and runs between the PCM and the instrument cluster. I can't remember exactly where I found it though but if you follow the harness from the PCM you should be able to find it.
