long or short bed?

long or short bed?
My first truck so forgive the novice question. I have a 1990 F150. The bed, to me seems to be "standard", but when looking for a topper it is always "long" or "short". The bed is about 82 inches (just under 7 ft). Can anyone tell me if this is considered to be long or short?
