Coil Spring Setup on a 4x4 Crew
HI EVERYONE!
I have to tell everyone about my newest truck, A 76 F-250 Crew Cab 4x4 that I bought last month on e-bay. The different thing about this one is that was an original 2 wd converted by adding an 2 link suspension with coils. The guy I bought it from said all Ford parts were used, so my only guess is this might be from a E-350 van? Anybody know? He also said it had a NP205, but it turns out to be a Dana 24. Seems to work well though. Does anybody have any comparisons between the two? The main reason I am writing is that I have followed the conversations on the Crews very closely, and it seems to be a very desirable truck, especially 4wd.. I just wanted to show a different approach other than a frame graft for a conversion. I have the truck in my gallery, and am very proud of it! I have more pictures if anyone wants them. Also, it has a relocated new style steering box, which makes it drive great. Thanks for listening-- Todd
