Pulling heads
Naw,its not that complicated, the hardest part will be getting at the torx bolt that is in the middle for removing the plenum,it takes a long t-40 torx,if you have never done heads before, buy a chiltons manual, they will give you a basic step by step, plus you will need it for torque specs anyway,if you run into any problems just shout,I will be glad to help you all I can.
I just did 'em on my 89, pretty straight forward. since you're into it that deep, you might want to have a look at the timing chain. Mine was pretty loose at 170K miles. I also had the injectors bench cleaned and tested and cleaned all the crud out of the intakes and throttle body. Runs pretty darn good now.
Truth on that plenum nut, but also truth in the t-40 torx...just get some long extensions and a universal i think and your set...i think the biggest pain in the *** is making sure all of your vacuum lines are hooked up correctly once your done/or you don't break any in the process...one vacuum leak will give you headaches.
