Trans Question

Has anyone heard of trans fluid flowing out of the trans while backing up? This only happens when towing. It doesn't matter if the trans is hot or cold. Any help or ideas would be great.

F-250 4x4 super duty automatic

I never hered a tell of a transmission pump.

sorry should have said where it cmoes from. Looks like it is comming out the rear seal area.

I would check into your rear seal that is likely where it is coming from.

If your sure its Tranny fluid and its coming from behind that black cover between motor and tranny, Its probably the front tranny seal,, Just had mine replaced about 10 days ago along with the front pump seal too, The bill was right at 500 bucks,, sure glad i had a warranty..!!
