I need to buy a cam position sensor, and would like to save money if possible. I have a 95 F-350. Schucks said $309 and Auto Zone said $170. Is there a better place online to get this from, or am I stuck with $170? Thanks in advance, and also for the great knowledge being shared...it has been a great help.

Your best bet is to go to an International dealer or a big rig shop that carries International parts. IH parts are almost always cheeper and theyre the same exact thing that in there since IH made the PSD.
Go to http://www.navistar.com and use the dealer locater link. You will need the proper part number:
1825899C93 CPS IH for S/N 375549 and above
1825899C99 CPS IH for S/N 375549 and below
I think 1999 and up is the first part number.
Aaron.
What Navistar did was make a running change in the middle of the '96 model year. The number ending in "99" was for the trucks built prior to the change, and "93" was for trucks built after. The difference is in the material used in the electrical contacts. "93" is the new and improved, and will work on all '94-'97 Powerstrokes. I'm not sure about Superduties, since I ain't got one of 'em.
I hope this helps.
