Grab Handle
I've decided to take a little pity on my passengers and install a grab handle above the passenger door for them to hang onto during "spirited" driving sessions. Has anyone run across a generic or vehicle-specific handle that fits well? I'd like something in tan or brown to go with the rest of my interior if possible, but might consider chrome if necessary. What colour is your interior ?
You need to be on the lookout for a the same year as your truck, Mercury Marquis,Thunderbird,Lincoln
The door pull handle on the back doors is perfect.
You just need to the same color as your truck.
You might be able to see the one I installed in my "Evolution of the Brat" album in my gallery.

Thanks Dennis! Your gallery pic was too dark to make out anything for me. Is the door pull strong enough to handle a person's weight if it was mounted above the door? Or are you talking about a bonafide grab handle from that vintage automobile? I can also envision persons grabbing it to haul their carcass up into this old Hi-Boy, so expect it to see some heavy lifting at times. My interior was called "Saddle" and the paint is Dark Yellow (called Sandpiper Gold on my moroni) so might have a chance to come up with something matching the Saddle. Sounds like I just need to head for my favourite junke yarde and do some scouting around. I was just hoping for a short-cut!

Bringing back a very old thread.
I also want to add one to my truck and was wondering if anyone knows of good aftermarket grab handles that could be bolted to the pillar. Obviously there is nothing there now and it will not look stock. What I envision is something similar to what jeep guys use in their offroaders for passengers to hold onto, except I need it for my employees who have trouble getting into the passenger seat on and off throughout the day. Thanks
