Wierd noise from sensor
Can anybody tell me what the device is that is on the same bracket as the DPFE. It is round and has what looks like a lid but just spins. It has 2 vacuum hoses to it and one elec plug. The reason I ask is when I shut the truck off it whistles for about 20 seconds. If I pull the vac hoses off it stops and you can still feel the vacuum at the hoses. Also, And I don't know if these are related, there is a groaning sound about every 30 seconds after the truck is off but this doesn't start right away. Maybe a minute or two after the truck is off and stops a few minutes later. This noise sounds like its coming from somewhere on the driver side under the master cylinder. IS MY TRUCK POSESSED!? Other than that the new motor runs like a top.
