I've got a Hypermax downpipe that starts at 3" at the EBPV, and flares to 3.5" once it clears the firewall. I put a 3.5" to 4" reducer on the end of the downpipe, and then it's 4" all the way back. I'm running a real hot chip, and don't have any EGT issues.
