Help. I have an 89 BII with the Rear Antilock light on that I can't seem to get rid of (the light). Been trying to fix this for awhile now and am about ready to just disconnect it and forget.
Did the flash codes and come up with code 7 (isolate valve problem).
Now I've replaced the Hydro-electric valve, the Master cylynder and the rear wheel cylenders. All replacements improved the performance of the brakes but not the code 7.
So now before giving up, I'm asking for any help that's available.
With the ignition off disconnect the valve harness connector. Measure the resistance between the isolation solenoid pin and the valve ground in the connector. If the resistance is less than 3 ohms you still have a problem with the valve, if its more then do the following. Ingnition off, disconnect the battery, disconnect the valve harness connector, disconnect the module harness connector. Measure the resistance between module harness pin 13 and ground. Greater than 20,000 oms the module is bad, less is short in the curcuit.
