Lawnmower Conversion Question
I have a White LT-12 (MTD) lawn tractor that I got for free a while back, and I just use it for the stuff I don't want to use my Deeres for. It has a 7 gear variable speed transmission and I don't really like that transmission much.
I picked up an older White 11/36 tractor (Pre-MTD) at the dump for free yesterday. It has a good 11hp Briggs (I'm pulling it out for another tractor) and a good 4 spd rearend.
I want to put the 4 spd in the LT-12, but I would like to know if it can fit.
I know a John Deere like the back of my hand, but these Whites are new to me.
