96 302 Underdrives and/or Headers??
I have a 96 F150 with a 302 w/153,000 miles on it. I'm thinking of a few performance upgrades like headers and/or underdrive pulleys. I am concerned though on the header side because of the high mileage and the sudden drop in back pressure could cause me to burn a valve. I already have a true dual exhaust system with 2.5 in pipe running into two 30 in glass packs, so my back pressure is already pretty low. I was also thinking of installing underdrive pulleys but I have a fairly large stereo system w/two amps I'm concerned that with the underdrives my alternator will not supply enough amperage to power my amps. If any one has any advice in these arenas I would certainly appreciate the help.

Since your running two big amps I wouldn't even consider underdrive pullies. Now the header Idea sounds good and you don't have to worry about burning up your valves. The only way that would happen is if you were running straight headers with no exhaust for a length of time.
