Can someone help me with a severe brake squeal. It is in the front and I know the pads are good because when they rotated my tires last time I looked at the pads and they where very thick. I think the calipher is sticking or something because if you apply just the slightest brake pressure it goes away. Is there something that I can lube so the brakes won't drag. It is mainly the front left I think. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
If you go to Autozone, O'Reilly, Pep Boys, or any place like that, they have stuff in a can that stops it. But you should probably have a look at your brakes and see if you can solve the problem. 10 to 1 it's probably a simple fix.

I have the same issue! I even got slotted rotors in hopes to reduce glazing but no such luck, still squeels like a pig. It started back up a day after changing rotors. I tried the stuff Toreador talked about. It kind of works but not for very long! And when they squeek like your saying, with now preasure, they squeek even worse with that stuff. The product I used comes in a blue can and looks like blue spaypaint, I wouldn't recomend it because if you got sloppy one time it will probably F-up your wheels. Does yours squeek on and off or is it a constant noise. Mine is on and off and bugs the crap out of me. If you find a solution please let me know before I commit harry carry!
