break pedal shake?
i have a 99 f-250 4x4 psd.when i start up my truck and its idle the break pedal vibrates. when i get up to around 40-45 and higher and i hit the breaks it dosent shake but once i get below 40 or around there its shakes. my break pads and new and i had my rotors turned less that 2k miles ago. what could be the problem?

The next day I took them back to the shop that did them and they guy asked where I had them turned. I said right here. He chucked them up on the lathe and said they were not true. He recut them and they were fine. It is possible thet whoever cut them did not have them chucked up in the lathe properly and the rotor is cut inproperly. This might be your problem since they appeared to be ok before your brake job. Also, just for laughs, How are the front wheel bearings? Are they tight and greased properly? This can also cause a shake that resembles warped rotors.

Wait ! your post says it shakes at Idle! are you moving? or parked?
Ceejay! I know what your getting at rotor warp !
His post led me to believe he was parked.
But I'm not sure now!

yea if im in park it vibrates and then when i switch in drive or reverse the same vibration. but it seems when im over 40mph and hit the breaks no vibrate. but once it gets under 40 its seems to vibrate

You might have a problem with your abs unit!
When it does this does it feel like pulsations ,another words if you just lightly touch the brake pedal with your foot can you feel little vibrations?
When you first start your truck does the abs light come on and then go off? If not the bulb could be bad or the abs unit is not doing its self test mode therefore something is wrong in the unit.
You also could just have a bushing problem in the pedal !

yea it does vibrate and my abd light comes on and then goes off. it almost feels like its the vibration off the engine cause when its in overdrive it dosent shake but when its not in over drive it does shake
