I have one on mine but other than a little sound variation its hard to say if it really makes a difference??? For $200 (if I had to pay for mine, which I didn't) I would pass......MPG increase =Exhaust, Air Intake, Predator 65hp and a light foot...
so whats a good exhaust out there, and what about mufflers in general (magnaflow),
im just trying to figure out how to get the best performance I can with not having a platnum budget
so many p eople are affraid to try none at all!
zero back pressure, the best performance out of a muffer... it cost me 150 bux with a 4" s/s tip installed, picked up, and delivered to my work....no cost for a heavy muff;er, and sound is not loud at ALL! you could not pay me to install a muffler now, the stock cat keeps it soo quiet, you cannot tell unless your outside the truck by the tailpipe.....then it sounds like a muffled jet...best of both worlds imho.
anyhoo, i have used magnaflow on three of my stangs, and ill never buy another stang exhaust OTHER than magnaflow, perfect quality!

I have a Magnaflow straight through muffler and the Aero after...Sounds great not too loud not too quiet!!!
Aluminized 4 inch cat back(no muffler) if your savin $$$..Or 4 inch from turbo back and bigger downpipe....

What are Ford's recommendations for removing the muffler altogether. I have often thought of doing this. The only thing that concerns me is the noise in the cab. I often haul for long periods of time and I don't want to have to install a louder stereo.
