Hey all, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post in, but I was wondering if you guys could take a look at my gallery and give me an idea what she's worth. You know like a real-world figure, like what you'd pay if you were buying it.
I might be having to deal with a bankruptcy and I'm torn over keeping her or not. She IS my baby afterall.
Almost forgot it's a 351M with a c-6, 170k, everything works, even the A/C!
Well to be honest with you my grandparents just bought one in the same condition without rust for $1500 after hagling. They guy wanted $1800 because it failed emissions. I would say $2000 because it looks well taken care other than the rust. I paid $1500 for my 76 F250 4x4 "highboy". It appears that around here old Fords go for around $1500-$2500 depending on condition. I found an excellent condtion 79 F150 for $2800 but I don't know what motor was in it. These trucks are in Arizona so I don't know about your area. Hope this helps.
bought my 1976 f250 for $1600. the guy was asking $1800. body was in suprisingly good condition cept for the passenger side bumber. looks like he wrapped a trailor around it.
Just a tip - check your bankruptcy laws in your area if that is the way you are going to - you might be able to keep the truck - generally speaking, if a Bankruptcy Trustee determines that an asset has little or no recovery value, then they will generally allow you to keep that asset as it would cost them more to seize, store and sell the item.
Just a thought if it helps.
