I have a 2002 F250 4x4 7.3 I was wondering of the Superchips Predator and the edge programer which offers the best overall match for my truck. I have a magna flow 4" exhaust, and I am running 285 tires. Mostly I would like to use the modest performace setting for towing to improve milage and performance a little. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thank you in advance.
Which would you choose? Also you made no metion of the edge programer. Why?
The cost seem close enough, what about service reputaions, updates etc.....
We don't sell Edge. Its the new kid on the block and they are new at computer tuning (their previous power adders basically worked external to the computer and upped the fuel delivery).
I can't tell you which one to get. Unfortunately, all too often a request I get is to decide for someone which unit to get. I can't do that --- for some a bigger name brand is more import, for others the diagnostics are, etc. I can present what I know about each, covered in great detail in thousands of posts I've made in the chip/tuner section. Also, here's some basic information:
The Diablo Predator, by far, has the most features, and can be upgraded by you whenever Diablo publishes an update. Simply go to their site and download the update. The other two can't touch it feature-wise, but they all have good tunes.
