Hey all, I have a 1971 Ford F100 Ranger XLT. ITs got the stock 390 in it. A few days ago I started it up and drove it around and all of a sudden it started violently shaking while I was stopped. When I let my foot off the break to start moving, it usually shoots out, but it was barely creeping forward. Well, I put it in park and the shaking stopped for the most part. There was a little vibration, but nothing serious. I took it to a small shop because I thought it might be the U joints, but they checked them and said that they are fine and they said that it could be the carborator. Does anyone have any suggestions or know if they could be on target? I bought some spray cleaner for my carborator, but havent used it yet.
While I am posting, I will go ahead and list my other problem. My horn isnt working at all, and it looks like everything is hooked up correctly. Also, my cigarette lighter doesnt work, nor does the light in my radio (it is the factory AM radio. Everything is factory on my truck.) Do those problems all tie into one fuse?, or are they all seperate problems? and how do I go about fixing them?
Thanks a lot!
