Anybody have any experience with this item? It seems like it would work well as long as you have space to manuever with it. Nice features, great lifting range. How is it for durability and maintainence? Thanks in advance for any input you can give.
The bigger jacks usually can lift higher because their components are longer.
But after having a cheap jack blow out on me and almost losing my left hand because of it, I will NEVER use a cheap jack again. I would have to be a total retard otherwise.
If you insist on going cheap with your jack, for goodness sake, get some GOOD jackstands and use them correctly!
Thanks for the reply Gene! Yes, jackstand use is SOP. Jacks are for lifting, NOT for holding or supporting! No vehicle should ever be on the jack for any longer than it takes to carefully place it on the stands. (Glad to read that story as an almost!)
Anybody else have experience with this particular unit?
I have one of these jacks. I bought it about 2 years ago and has worked great every time. No matter what brand floor jack you use, you should always use jackstands. A good jack can fail just as easily as a cheapie. I love this floor jack and use it all the time anymore. Can use the foot pump to jack it up, has a super lifting height of 31 5/8". I would buy another if something happened to this one. Just my .02
